Continued Cuddles and Crime Scene Tape

Remember my post about JoJo’s first time cuddling? Well, she has done it again twice since then. She is doing it RIGHT NOW! I have noticed a pattern: I give JoJo a bite or lick of people food (vanilla honey lavender ice cream, pasta, etc.) and while I or Nik continue to eat, she cuddles. So even if the cuddle is a tad selfish, I’ll take it! I love her little chin on my legs!!

I had a really nice weekend. I spent a lot of time scrapbooking (page on moving almost done, and next one in the planning stages). I even dreamt about scrapbooking last night…better than dreaming about work!! Nik and I also did a lot of errands and shopping. Nik has been wanting a new dining room table, so we decided to go look. We fell in love with one and ended up ordering an 11-piece set, including a sideboard and glass-fronted display case!! We were afraid we wouldn’t be able to fit everything into the house, so we came home and mapped it all out with blue tape on the floor (hence the crime scene title). I’m really excited for it to come. We’ll finally be able to seat more than 4 people, so when everyone comes over for First Saturday Dinner and a Movie, we can socialize and eat more easily. The sideboard will also be a really nice spot to keep the drinks and wine glasses.

Having a “family time” evening, eating dinner, watching some TV, and being entertained by JoJo’s antics. Looking forward to our Thanksgiving trip, in just over a week!!
