Spring Has Sprung

Spring has sprung in Northern California! I welcomed the latest warm weather with open arms and skirts and dresses! I love spring around here, as the foliage change is starkly noticeable. Our neighborhood is filled with flowering trees, and driving or walking around fills my eyes with blooms in every imaginable shade of pink. My little frontyard garden has survived the winter and is blooming once again. Above is one of my little guys, who seems to get more flowers each year.

Spring is going to be busy for me. I am taking a class on family relationships, which appears as though it might require a lot of (at least interesting) reading. I also have a lot of trips and events planned. I am heading to LA for my birthday weekend, hosting First Saturday, attending a conference in San Diego, traveling to Boise for April and Seth’s wedding, co-hosting a baby shower for Kimberly in LA, etc. Most of that is occurring in May alone! All really fun things, but I will sure be a busy gal!
